Here is the Activity Report 2025

From the Ferrer Foundations, we are publishing the Activity Report 2025, a transparency exercise that brings together all the initiatives developed during 2025 and highlights the transformative capacity of the projects we develop to build a more just and inclusive society.

All the initiatives we promote are guided by a common objective: the socialisation of wealth. The intention is to return it where it belongs, the social fabric that has made it possible to generate it. 

According to the United Nations, by the year 2025, one in ten people worldwide will be living in poverty, and in Catalonia, one in three children live in households experiencing economic hardship. The UN sternly warns that realities such as these will continue to worsen as a consequence of the climate crisis, which intensifies inequalities and deepens the social crisis. Meanwhile, wealth continues to be concentrated in fewer and fewer hands.

Faced with this scenario, working to promote equity and social justice is not just a matter of commitment, but an inescapable responsibility, especially for organisations in the Global North like ours.”explains Estefania Rico, Director of Socialization of Wealth.

2025: a commitment to the socialisation of wealth

The year 2025 has been a year of consolidation. Through the five foundations' areas of work – agriculture, literature, music, human rights, and sport – we have continued to generate opportunities, foster critical thinking and knowledge. Some of our key achievements include:

• expansion of the network of urban social allotments Fundació Ferrer Green for Good, with the inauguration of the Hort IE La Mina (Sant Adrià de Besòs).
• The preparation and distribution of around one million meals to vulnerable people, from Ferrer for Food's social kitchen, of the Fundació Ferrer Social Justice; as well as the mobilisation of over 35,000 people in solidarity with the Palestinian people, through the event “Palestine – culture is resistance” and the campaign “ACTxPALESTINE”.
• The impulse of hundreds of artistic trajectories fostering access to music and literary culture, as transformative tools, through Fundació Ferrer de Música Hello Fundació Finestres.
• The empowerment of dozens of top-level tennis players to become role models in the fight for social justice from the Tennis Empowerment Center (TEC) Carles Ferrer Salat, the main project of Fundació Ferrer Talent.

Ferrer's bet

The Ferrer Foundations are born from the firm commitment of the pharmaceutical company Ferrer, a B Corp company whose purpose is to use its business to fight for social justice and which allocates around 50% of its profits each year to social, cultural and environmental causes.
