For what purpose do we process your data and what is our legal basis?

At the Ferrer Foundation, we will process the personal data you provide, as well as all data collected through the use of the website, for the primary purpose of sending you our newsletter, which will contain information of interest regarding the Ferrer Foundation's milestones and/or future volunteering opportunities. These communications will be sent to the email address you have provided us via the subscription form on the newsletter.

The legal basis that legitimises the processing of your personal data for sending newsletter yes your express consent (Article 6.1 a) of the GDPR) granted at the time of subscription. You may withdraw your consent at any time you no longer wish to receive this type of information, without, in any case, the withdrawal of this consent affecting actions taken prior to its withdrawal.

What data do we process?

Within the scope of providing the services offered by the website, the Ferrer Foundation will process your identification and contact details that you have provided at the time of subscribing to the newsletter.

In this scenario, these third parties will process your personal data exclusively for the purposes determined by the Ferrer Foundation in each case, and never for their own purposes. We would like to inform you that the Ferrer Foundation contracts some of its services with suppliers located outside the European Economic Area, specifically located in the United States of America. This contracting will involve an international data transfer governed by the existence of standard contractual clauses signed with the supplier in question. How long will we retain your data?

Your personal data will be kept for as long as necessary for the purpose pursued and until you request its deletion, without prejudice to it being blocked for a period of three years to comply with the obligations arising from Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights.

The exercise of these rights shall be free of charge, provided they are not exercised in a manifestly unfounded or excessive manner.

Finally, we inform you that you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), located at 6 Jorge Juan Street, 28001 Madrid, should you consider that the Ferrer Foundation has not processed your data in accordance with the regulations.
