We discover the names of the winners of the JONDE and Ferrer-Salat Scholarships 2025
The Selection Committee appointed by the Spanish National Youth Orchestra (JONDE) and chaired by the artistic director of the Ferrer Foundation for Music, Jesús Rueda, has today published the list of winners of the 3rd edition of the “JONDE and Ferrer-Salat Scholarships”. For the third consecutive year, and thanks to the collaboration agreement between the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM) and the Ferrer Foundation for Music, we are awarding these 30 new scholarships for projects by JONDE musicians.
Each of these grants represents a gross financial contribution of €8,000 to support the artistic growth of 30 young musicians who are part of the Spanish National Youth Orchestra's (JONDE) Instrumentalist Exchange. Unlike other music grants, this amount can be used for an ongoing or future project for these musicians. For this reason, among the selection criteria, the jury has assessed how obtaining this grant will decisively contribute to the artistic development of their project or training proposal.
From the Ferrer Foundation for Music, we offer our sincere congratulations to all the musicians for the submissions presented, and to the winners of this second edition, we thank them for the opportunity they give us to continue to realise our vocation of generating opportunities and social justice through music.
This scholarship programme, which we launched two years ago and which is in addition to others awarded by the Ferrer Foundation for Music, follows our approach of joining forces with established institutions that guarantee the highest standards, in order to support and promote the artistic excellence of young musicians with extraordinary talent during their formative years.
