Palestine Action takes part in the International Forum for Palestinian Culture
The initiative promoted by the Ministries of Culture of Spain and Palestine brought together institutions and professionals in Madrid to champion culture as a tool for resistance and the defence of human rights.
On the 15th of July, Palestine Action participated in the International Forum for Palestinian Culture, an initiative jointly promoted by the Ministries of Culture of Spain and Palestine that brought together in Madrid institutional representatives, artists, cultural professionals, researchers, international organisations and entities committed to the defence of cultural rights as human rights.
Júlia Pastor, project manager, was part of the round table ‘Culture for resistance. Identity and art against repression’, where the experience of the Ferrer Social Justice Foundation's cross-cutting project in promoting social justice and the rights of the Palestinian people will be shared. During the speech, they also presented the Finestres Palestine Bookstore as an example of a space dedicated to the promotion of Palestinian literature, thought and culture.
