To this end, it is launching a series of initiatives, in collaboration with other local players, to help strengthen and improve the current situation of the comics sector and its professionals.<\/p>\n<p>In September, a <strong>new line of grants for festivals opened,<\/strong> , with the aim of promoting initiatives focused on the dissemination, programming and sale of comics.<strong> Applications are open until October 15<\/strong> and the grant offers up to \u20ac20,000 per edition. <a href=\"https:\/\/fundaciofinestres.com\/impuls-al-comic\/\">More information here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Separately, within the framework of the CREC Chair, the Finestres Foundation has launched the second edition of the scholarship <strong>\u201cEXP-Experimental Comic: Research and Creation\u201d<\/strong>, which aims to promote research to explore hybridities between comics and other creative and professional fields.
