On the 28th of\u00a0May<\/span>, and the\u00a0Fundaci\u00f3 Ferrer Green for Good<\/b>\u00a0has opened the new\u00a0Sant Pau Art Museum<\/b>\u00a0(Barcelona), a social urban space created to contribute to the well-being of people with oncological diseases and their environment within the grounds ofSant Pau Hospital<\/b>. Located around the\u00a0K\u0101lida Sant Pau Centre<\/b>\u00a0I have a surface area of 440 m\u00b2.,\u00a0becomes the sixth garden in the Green for Good Gardens network,<\/b>\u00a0an initiative that transforms disused spaces into green environments with positive social and environmental value.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the event, Estefania Rico, Director of Socialisation of Wealth, referred to the importance of creating more sustainable cities:\u00a0\u201cWith cities becoming increasingly uninhabitable, regenerative agriculture can help alleviate their shortcomings from an ecological, food, and social integration perspective.<\/b><\/p>\n

The project complements the emotional, social and practical support offered by\u00a0<\/b>The K\u0101lida Foundation<\/u><\/b><\/a>\u00a0it will allow a hundred users \u2013 patients, relatives, caregivers, volunteers and professionals \u2013 to participate in activities linked to cultivation and contact with nature, fostering emotional well-being and community connection. To achieve these objectives, one-third of the space has been dedicated to growing vegetables following the principles of regenerative agriculture and permaculture, while the rest incorporates fruit trees and accessible paths.<\/p>\n

The inauguration ceremony brought together members of the Ferrer Foundations board and the Ferrer Green for Good Foundation team, as well as representatives from the K\u0101lida Private Foundation, such as its director, Joan Revent\u00f3s, who emotionally highlighted: \u201dhaving this new green space is a dream.
